Urbi honed her craft during the lockdown, earning an impressive following in a short space of time since she started playing out to crowds in 2023, with opportunities to share stages with renowned artists such as Lauryn Hill and The Fugees, Black Coffee, Kerri Chandler, Disclosure, and TSHA.
Now a key figure in Manchester’s vibrant music community, last year Urbi became a resident DJ and active member of two local collectives: Not Bad For A Girl and Do As You Please. Her presence extends beyond that, with residencies on Reform Radio and ICN (Ibiza Club News) Radio, allowing her to share her distinctive sound with listeners globally.
Urbi’s journey has taken her to some of the most iconic venues and events, including The Warehouse Project, MiNT Festival, and We Out Here Festival, as well as beloved Manchester spots such as The Loft, Hidden, Ramona and SOUP.
In 2024, Urbi founded Staple Music, a Manchester-based record label and events brand with a mission to champion inclusivity and amplify underrepresented voices in house music. Through Staple Music, she curates events, discovers emerging talent, and supports artists, all while continuing her own production journey.
Urbi’s work reflects her commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, both on and off the dancefloor. Her debut track is set for release in early 2025 through Not Bad For A Girl’s record label, Equal Parts and she has her first full EP in the works which she can’t wait to share with you all!
